This is for the Pageant Contest at :icongirls-girls-girls: [link]

The first contest was the draw her in "National Costume". My lady was Miss Denver since Miss Colorado was taken. Since I couldn't think of anything horribly specific for Denver itself, this just relates to Colorado as a whole. She's my little snow bunny! XD Because skiing and hiking is big in Colorado, she's kind of a mix of a skiier and a hiker. :3

Here's a few fun little fact tidbits for her since they have these on the beauty pageant pages.

No, I haven't. O: I don't ski or snowboard. I've been to Copper mountain but that was because my sister and I won tickets to the X-Games that year O:

I don't ski or snowboard either, my sister does. I say the snow is monstrous and I'd like to stay in the Springs, but for the X-Games, I'd fight my way through a blizzard XD

So fun! Her outfit is so adorable! I love her huge glasses and funky style. Her haircolour is so fun :) I really like her lips (ahh I like the way you draw them apparantly :D ) I know it's not set to crit, but it's what I do. I really like the linework in this, and it does look great and fine. But if you want a suggestion for something to work on, I think you have a great start to linear weights but you could really start pushing them. Like determine a light source and add some shadows with thickening the lineart on one side or whatever.... I think it would look great to push the line varieties a bit more!

I understand what your saying but I've always really enjoyed my lines being very thin. I think my images look much crisper that way. I usually tend to keep everything very thin (usually no more than 2 pixels) on the interior of the image and then have a ticker line as the outline. This is all very much Mucha inspired. <3

Either way, I'll probably graduate to a point where I will move on to such things. But right now, I'm at a point in my art where I'm actually almost %100 happy with the way that I draw/color things. So thank you for your suggestion and I will def. keep it in mind!
